Summer Adventures K-6
Our Daily Camps, offered from the week of June 6th through the week of August 8th, run from 8:30am to 3:30 pm, and are divided into three age groups. The cost is $200 for a 5-day week (M-F), $150 for a 3-day week (M,W,F) and $100 for a 2-day week (T,Th). Every week we have a la carte classes you can add for a small fee to make Summer Adventures even more exciting. We also offer after care until 5:30 pm.Cool Fun (Ages 5-6) focuses on a diversity of life study, and includes art,outdoor and indoor games, music and singing, swimming, and downtime. Cool Fun is led by Odyssey's own K-1 teacher, Samata de Cori.Cool Adventures (Ages 7-9) is full of games, nature exploration, making imaginary towns out of paper for the school's gerbils, gardening and working in the greenhouse. Cool Adventures is led by Odyssey's Science and Math Teacher, Teshale Byan.Ultimate Adventures (Ages 10-13) features Frisbee golf, Ultimate Frisbee, European handball, hiking, volleyball, nature trail creation, exploration in the nearby botanical gardens, swimming, Tai Chi, and Yoga. Ultimate Adventures is led by Odyssey's Assistant Director and Middle School Teacher, Kalyan Volpe.We are also offering some exciting a la carte classes which can be added on to your child's daily camp schedule for an additional cost. These classes include Ceramics, Robotics, Percussion, Beading and Messy Science.To find out more about the counselors and the fun activities planned see the documents below. Teen Summer Intensives
Odyssey Summer Adventures is offering half-day summer intensives for teens ages 13-17. Led by Creative Technology Instructor Gene Felice, and starting at 12:30 to 3:30 for 3 days a week (M,W,F), teen campers may choose from the following:Digital Photography w/ Photoshop (July 18-22) Digital Video - Shooting & Editing with iMovie (July 25-29) 3D Modeling & Animation with Google SketchUp (Aug 1-5)Teens will spend a 2-hour focus on the particular subject of the camp, and then have the last hour for swimming and relaxation.To register for the camps and view the schedule, fill out, print and fax or mail to the forms to us.To find out more about Gene Felice, see his biography below.
A La Carte Classes
A la carte classes are for ages 5-13, depending upon subject matter.
